Kelly Mackey receives Special Mention Award from the Human Rights Committee of the Law Society of Ireland

Kelly Mackey, Thomas Addis Emmet Fellow in Comparative Law from Dublin, received special mention by The Human Rights Committee of the Law Society of Ireland for her entry in their Annual Competition "The Trainee Solicitor Human Rights Essay Prize 2008".  Kelly's essay, "An Unconventional Remedy for Litigants:  The Role of the European Convention of Human Rights Act 2003 in the Irish Legal Order" received special mention because of the high quality of the essay and the excellent research and arguments presented.

 

Kelly will be presented with her award at the Annual Human Rights Conference which will be held in Dublin at the Law Society of Ireland on November 8, 2008.  Congratulations Kelly!
