Washington Appleseed Staff

Katie Mosehauer, executive director

Katie Mosehauer joined the Washington Appleseed staff in 2009 and comes to Appleseed with a varied history of nonprofit management. She led political campaigns for environmental organizations across the country, assisted with Democratic Party field operations, led local grassroots campaigns for social justice, and has also worked extensively with local arts and culture organizations. Ms. Mosehauer holds a B.A. in anthropology with minor concentrations in gender studies and music performance from the University of Virginia.
